Georgia Early Voting Sets Record On First Day..

Brad Raffensperger, Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State, announced that 188,667 in-person ballots were cast on October 13, Georgia’s first day of early voting, demonstrating significant voter engagement in the battleground state ahead of consequential statewide races.

That figure surpassed the 134,962 opening-day votes recorded in 2022 by 53,705, representing an increase of nearly 40 percent. The striking contrast with 2018 was even more dramatic, when only 70,849 Georgians voted in person on opening day.
